ICM’s responsibility was to install all substructures for the Lamar Repowering Project. This consisted of placing 14,000 c.y. of concrete in a 12 month duration with a peak manpower of 60. The boiler foundation consisted of a 2400 c.y. mass pour which was successfully completed in 16 hours. ICM installed the entire coal handling structural steel and equipment packages including: rail car unloading, high angle conveyor, conveyor galleries, dome reclaim system, crusher, magnetic separators, lowering well and transfer tower. ICM also supplied and installed all pre-engineered metal structures including the steam turbine generator building and coal unloading building. ICM installed the GE turbine and generator. 76,000 Man-hours worked. Peak Manpower was 60.
