ICM SAFETY PHILOSOPHY
In all of its operations, Industrial
Constructors/Managers, Inc. (ICM) is guided by
an established accident-prevention policy. This
policy is based on a sincere desire to eliminate
occupational injuries and illnesses, damage to
equipment and property, as well as to protect
the general public.
Management and supervision are charged with the
responsibility of preventing the occurrence of
incidents or conditions that could lead to
occupational injury or illness. While the
ultimate success of a safety and health program
depends upon the full cooperation of each
individual employee and it is management’s
responsibility to see that effective training
and education programs are employed to the best
advantage.
Safety should never be sacrificed for
production, but considered an integral part of
quality control, cost reduction and job
efficiency. Every supervisor will be held
accountable for the safety performance
demonstrated by the employees under his/her
supervision.
ICM’s philosophy is shown by our desire to
achieve an outstanding record in the safety
field. Though we believe our program to be very
effective, we also recognize that as long as any
possibility exists for even one person to suffer
injury, we must continue to stress safety and to
strive for improvement.
It
is the Company policy to recognize and / or
reward behaviors that create a safer
workplace and to eliminate behaviors that
endanger employees, contractors, or visitors
within our workplaces. It is also the
Company policy to make all employees and
contractors aware of behaviors and attitudes
that can affect safety on and off the job.
Our policy is to accomplish job progress in the
safest possible manner consistent with good work
practices. Every level is charged with the task
of translating this policy into positive safety
actions on a daily basis.
